Swiss Ice Hockey has decided to postpone the NaturEnergie Challenge, which was scheduled to take place mid-December in Visp. There would have been too many Covid-related difficulties if the tournament were to take place.
Instead, the Swiss national team will play two home games as part of the preparation for the 2021 World Championship in Latvia and (presumably) Belarus coming spring.
Not affected by this decision are the gatherings of the women's and junior national teams in December, although exact dates have yet to be set. The only team with a fixed schedule is the U20 national team, which will prepare for their World Championship, taking place in Edmonton around the turn of the year.
