Swiss National Team

As Dominik Egli, Valentin Nussbaumer (Davos) and Noah Rod (Geneva) are currently dealing with injuries, head coach Patrick Fischer has called up three new players.

It will be Roger Karrer, Tyler Moy (Genève-Servette HC) and Sandro Schmid (HC Fribourg-Gottéron), who will replace those three injured players in Switzerland's roster for the upcoming Deutschland Cup in Krefeld.

In addition to netminders Ludovic Waeber (ZSC Lions), Philip Wüthrich (SC Bern) and forward Nando Eggenberger (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), also Sandro Schmid might thus make his debut with the National Team.

The team will gather on Monday next week and is set to practice for three days. Between November 11 and 14, they will then play three games against Slovakia, Germany, and Russia.
