Patrick Fischer will thus be able to count on those three players for the second week of preparation for the World Championship. Andres Ambühl, Enzo Corvi (HC Davos) and Reto Berra (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) will join the team in the third week.
As the three players were also part of the Olympic team, they will, as agreed upon with their respective clubs, be given an extra week of rest before joining the team.
Switzerland will play two games against Germany this week, one on Thursday and one on Saturday.
