The Mooseheads finished off their trade deadline day by trading Yannick Ponzetto, Reece Peitzsche, Ethan Larmand, a 2024 2nd Round Pick, and a 2025 3rd Round Pick to Shawinigan in exchange for Lou-Felix Denis and Jan Sprynar.
Ponzetto is currently in his first QMJHL season. In 39 games for Halifax, the former member of EHC Kloten's organization recorded one goal and seven assists.
