After the founding of the National League AG a while ago, the clubs from the Swiss League intend to go the same way. A corporation is to be created in a timely manner. The clubs will still be part of Swiss Ice Hockey, as is the case with the National League clubs.
How the two leagues and Swiss Ice Hockey will work together in the future is currently being discussed. Goal of the task force dealing with the matter is to have guidelines defined by the end of 2020. The transformation shall take place step-by-step during the 2021-22 season, with the following season fully embracing the new structures.
