"Swiss Ice Hockey distances itself from today's decision of the National League AG to increase the import player contingent to seven players from the 2022/23 season onwards."
They also state that they are clearly against this decision as they "fear negative consequences for the entire Swiss ice hockey, the junior hockey players and our Swiss players as a result of this measure."
Furthermore, they do not understand how the leadership boards of the Federation and the national teams were not involved in this discussion. They have also not been informed about the details of the decisions taken.
