Patrick Fischer has chosen his team for the Deutschland Cup and goes for a mix between veterans and young players.

With the goaltenders Ludovic Waeber (ZSC Lions), Philip Wüthrich (SC Bern) and forward Nando Eggenberger (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers) three players might make their debut with the National Team during this year's Deutschland Cup as they received their first invitation.

"We count on a mix between experienced and young players", head coach Patrick Fischer is quoted in a press release from the SIHF. Fischer also nominated nine players from the last world chapionship roster.

The team will gather on Monday, 8. November and is set to practice for three days. From 11. to 14. November they will play in Düsseldorf against Slovakia, Germany and Russia.
