According to the Berner Zeitung, Finnish netminder Tomi Karhunen has an offer on his table from a Swedish club beyond the 2020-21 season, which the 31-year-old is apparently not averse to accept. Whether SC Bern will let him go, however, remains to be seen.

Karhunen joined the Bears from Liiga's Lahti Pelicans in December 2019. Since the start of the 2020-21 season, he has appeared in 15 games for SCB, posting a save percentage of .904 and a goal-against average of 2.96.
