Maxim Shalunov to remain in Russia despite interest from LHC

Maxim Shalunov will not make the move to Lausanne.

Recently, it was reported that Maxim Shalunov's plan was to sign with a team in the National League. Apparently, the 27-year-old ended up deciding to stay in the KHL with CSKA, after negotiating for a long time, albeit without success, with Lausanne HC.
