Former Lakers' defenseman Julian Payr of interest to Villacher SV

According to Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung, the Villacher SV is interested in Julian Payr. The defenseman told the Vorarlberger Zeitung at the beginning of April that he is looking for a team that will give him time to build up his skills again.

Payr missed the entire 2020-21 season due to a knee injury he suffered back in February 2020. He underwent another surgery back in March 2021 to fixate his kneecap. He told the Vorarlberger Zeitung in April that, thanks to the surgery, he is now pain-free.
