Lukas Bach Nielsen played junior hockey in Switzerland from 2015 to 2020 and then returned to Denmark. He did, however, receive a tryout opportunity from EHC Winterthur this off-season and played in five championship games for them.
Last season, the forward played for the Odense Bulldogs, recording six goals and eleven assists in 42 games.
