Reto Kobach is injured again.
The 39-year-old defenseman missed already Saturday's game against HC Ajoie due to the injury. According to Der Landbote, Kobach is probably dealing with a concussion. It is not yet known for how long he will be out. Kobach only recently had to sit out for one week due to an undisclosed injury.
To replace Kobach in their defense, EHC Winterthur has acquired EHC Kloten's Lucas Bachofner. The 20-year-old already suited up for the Lions against HC Ajoie. For Kloten, he only appeared in two games this season so far.
