Due to a fractured wrist, Damien Brunner has yet to make an appearance in the National League this season. Two months after his injury, the EHC Biel-forward is back on the ice, the Bieler Tagblatt reports. However, he is still wearing a non-contact jersey. Two of his fellow forwards, Gilian Kohler and Anton Gustafsson, are also practicing under the same circumstances. Kohler suffers from a shoulder injury, while Gustafsson is dealing with back problems. He was reported to be back for this weekend's games a few days ago.

Due to Biel's long infirmary list, Elvis Schläpfer might make his National League-debut tonight against Lausanne HC. The son of former Biel-coach Kevin Schläpfer has already suited up in the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup and the Champions Hockey League.
