Medical Report

On Tuesday, the defenseman should be able to return on the ice for a game more than ten months after his last one.

Last year, Lorenz Kienzle sustained a severe knee injury. Now, the doctors have given the green light and Kienzle should be able to play, with caution, EHC Visp's next game: "on Tuesday, against EVZ Academy, I should make my debut with the new jersey" explains the 33-year-old to 20 minuti.

"Obviously with a little bit of head to head in terms of intensity and minutes. It will still be a gradual process in order not to overload the knee and risk swelling and problems with the cartilage" continues Kienzle.

With 20 minuti, Kienzle also took the time to explain his decision to join EHC Visp: "Linus Klasen called me many times, as well as captain Raphaël Kuonen, both former players of HC Lugano. Linus looked for me and convinced me. I'm happy because in Visp I found an environment that welcomed me with open arms. There is also Giacomo Casserini from Ticino, another friend."
