ZSC Lions will play in the CHL's Round of 16

Thanks to IFK Helsinki losing to Frölunda HC, the ZSC Lions clinched their second place in Group B and will move on to the next stage of the tournament.

While Lausanne HC has been eliminated from the 2021-22 edition of the Champions Hockey League, the ZSC Lions and HC Fribourg-Gottéron will continue their adventure in the European tournament.

Whether or not EV Zug and HC Lugano will join the two other National League teams for the Round of 16 will be determined tomorrow. The games for the Round of 16 will take place on November 16/17 and November 23/24.
