Next year, the World Championship will be hosted by two countries - Czechia and Slovakia. The IIHF has announced the groups for the tournament today. Switzerland will play in Prague as part of Group A and face host Czechia, defending champion Canada, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Austria, and re-promoted Great Britain.
Group B in Ostrava has the USA, Germany, Sweden, Slovakia, Latvia, France, Kazakhstan, as well as newly-promoted Poland, who have been gone from the top level for 22 years.
