(SWE) HockeyAllsvenskan

More than two years after he was fired by the ZSC Lions, the Swedish coach starts a new job in Sweden's second-highest league.

Hans Wallson takes over the Allsvenskan's IF Björklöven.

After winning the SHL championship title twice, being named the SHL's coach of the year twice and trying his luck abroad with the ZSC Lions, Björklöven seems to be a step back for Hans Wallson. The 53-year-old, however, sees a bright future for his new team: "It feels fun to come to a club that is on its way up," Wallson says on the club's website.

Hans Wallson joined the ZSC Lions in spring 2016. His time in Zurich, however, ended prematurely in December 2017 when the Swede was replaced by Hans Kossmann, who then led the Lions to the championship title in the same season.
