ExtraligaRichard Pánik is joining the Extraliga's Oceláři Třinec. He has signed a one-year deal with the three-times defending champion of the Czech top league. Last season, the Slovak was a member of Lausanne HC.
With this move, the 32-year-old returns to an old club - Třinec is where Pánik spent his latter junior time and made his first few steps in men's hockey. After leaving them in 2009, his career path has taken him on a tour through the OHL, the AHL and the NHL, and then - with a stop-ower in the National League - back to Třinec.
