Rihards Bukarts is very close to the end of his tenure with EHC Biel, his contract running out on January 31. According to Elite Prospects, an option for a possible extension has not been activated. It appears that the forward has already found a new place, as the Latvian Sportacentrs writes. He is likely joining his brother Roberts as a member of the Czech Extraliga's HC Vitkovice.
During his time with Biel so far, Bukarts has made eleven appearances, recording one goal and assist each. In the remaining two weeks until his probable departure, these stats might still change.
