A lion for the last five years, the forward will move to Sweden for the upcoming season.

Lions Frauen

Leksands IF has signed Swiss forward Dominique Rüegg to their SDHL-team, as was announced on the club's website. The 24-year-old was a member of the ZSC Lions for the last five years. With them, she won both the SWHL A-title and the Swiss Women's Cup three times each. Over the last two seasons, she was the best scorer on the team.

The SDHL will be Rüegg's first stop outside of Switzerland. Coming up through the junior departments of EC Wil and EHC Uzwil, she started playing for the SWHL A's Weinfelden Ladies during the 2013-14 season before joining the Lions Frauen in 2015.
