Besides a four-year gap where she was in Edmonton, suiting up for the Grant MacEwan University Griffins, Sandra Heim has been a part of EV Bomo Thun for most of her career. Now, the 26-year-old will join the recently-crowned champion of the SWHL A, the ZSC Lions Frauen.
Heim has made 75 appearances in the highest Swiss women's league over the years. On occasion, the goalie has also suited up for teams in the lower men's leagues, such as EHC Beatenberg and EHC Oberlangenegg.
