Lara Stalder has given her verbal consent to join EV Zug's women's team in the SWHL B, as the Luzerner Zeitung reports. Off the ice, the 28-year-old is already working for the club anyway part-time, but on the ice, she has been engaged outside Switzerland since 2013.

The last six years, Stalder has been playing in Sweden's SDHL. She set scoring records and broke them herself. Yet, she was unable to win the Swedish championship, the most recent attempt being denied in the deciding Game 5 of the SDHL-final last summer.

At EVZ's women's team, Stalder will meet an old acquaintance. Daniela Diaz, former head coach of the ZSC Lions, the Swiss women's national team and most recently sports director of the women's teams at the SIHF, will be coaching the new squad.
