With EHC Chur, Nicholas Heini will be able to keep playing hockey but also pursue his career off the ice. Since 2015 he mainly played for HC Davos' U17-Elit and U20-Elit.

On Monday, Heini decided to not join Lausanne HC for the upcoming season and to step down from professional hockey. The reason was a knee-injury he suffered last season that keeps him from playing at the level he used to.
