Two days ago, EHC Winterthur announced that Nico Engeler had decided to retire from professional hockey due to health reasons. The 24-year-old defender did not suit up once this season. Engeler, a native of Frauenfeld, has now decided to return to his formative club and play for its main squad in the MyHockey League.
