Langenthal's Hans Pienitz provisionally suspended

SC Langenthal will have to do without Hans Pienitz for at least the next game, as Pienitz's action is being investigated by the league. On January 26, the defenseman received 2+10 penalty minutes for a check to the head of Joël Steinauer in the fourth minute of the game between SCL and EHCW. Steinauer was able to continue playing for the rest of the game.
