Abdelkader has been punished for diving in two different situations in the same game. Both incidents occurred in EV Zug's playoff game against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers last Sunday.
As Abdelkader has been caught diving twice in the same game, he has to pay a fine of CHF 6'000, the SIHF announces. Video footage of the incidents can be found here.
Earlier this week, the SIHF rejected an appeal from the Lakers in another investigation involving EVZ's Abdelkader (possible high stick).
