Olausson revealed to Swedish newspaper Norbottens-Kurieren at the end of July that he would have had several options in the SHL, Luleå Hockey among them, as well as in the KHL, where he almost agreed to terms with a team.

The 30-year-old Swedish center suited up for EHC Biel in the past two years and managed to put up twelve goals and 46 assists in a total of 81 games for them. (rlu)
