"My agent is looking around," the 29-year-old says in an interview with the Neue Luzerner Zeitung. Diaz already knows this situation of uncertainty from last summer, when he earned himself a contract with the Flames only shortly before the new season started.
"Of course it's pressure," Diaz admits. "But you get used to it." If it does not work out with a new NHL-contract this year, the native of Baar does not have a plan B: "Then I'll have to see what I'll do." A return to his youth team EV Zug is, of course, an option.
