Crawford and the ZSC Lions decided to go their separate ways in mid-March, as the Lions were no longer willing to accept Crawford hedging his bets with the NHL. After five seasons away from the NHL, the 55-year-old would thus get his wish and return to coach in North America. (mso)

UPDATE The Ottawa Senators confirm that they have indeed hired Marc Crawford as Guy Boucher's associate coach. He will also act as a liaison between the coaching staff in Binghamton. - 09 May 2016, 6:55PM
