AHL - As the Toronto Marlies announce on Twitter, they have signed 19-year-old Swiss right wing Fabrice Herzog to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) contract for the rest of the season.

The Toronto Marlies are the American Hockey League's (AHL) affiliate team of the Toronto Maple Leafs, by which Herzog was drafted as fifth-round pick in last year's NHL entry draft.

This season so far, Herzog has played with the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 66 games, he was able to score a total of 36 goals and 28 assists.
