Magnus Nygren severely twisted his right foot and broke both bones in his lower leg. He underwent surgery on Monday morning, as Blick writes. Due to the injury, the Swede will not be able to suit up again this season, his last one with HC Davos before leaving homewards, to Färjestad BK.
The defenseman joined the National League team in 2017 and suited up 268 times for them.
