Marc Michaelis had been complaining increasingly about pain in his right arm. Medical exams have shown that the cause of the discomfort is a blood clot in the subclavian vein. Surgery and blood thinners are required to treat the situation. As the German will join EV Zug next season, he already has played his last game with the Tigers.
To counteract the defection of Michaelis, Langnau has signed, as rumored, Axel Holmström. The Swedish forward arrives on a loan agreement from Vaasan Sport, with which he still has a contract until 2025. This season the 26-year-old collected 40 points in 49 games with the Finnish team.
