As the Berner Zeitung reports, Aleksi Saarela sustained a knee injury when Jiří Sekáč kneed him in the fifth minute of yesterday's game. Saarela tried to resume playing but had to throw in the towel during the first break.
Juuso Riikola too sustained an injury when a puck hit him in the face. After extensive medical treatment, however, the Tigers' defender was able to return.
