As his former team EHC Winterthur announces on their website, 25-year-old defenseman Michel Grolimund will suit up for EHC Frauenfeld in the first league as of next season.

In February, Der Landbote reported that Grolimund will indeed not continue playing in the NLB due to professional reasons. As of next season, he will return to the first league again and play for Frauenfeld.

Grolimund made his debut for Winterthur's first team during the 2007-08 season and even served as their captain in the first term in the NLB. Last season, he managed to put up one goal and six assists in 44 games.

Moreover, according to the same source, 24-year-old forward Philipp Aerni will take a break from hockey, at least for now, and pursue other plans abroad. (bsc)
