Bürgler will thus remain with the Bianconeri until the end of the 2020-21 season. The 29-year-old forward, who is currently the leading scorer of HCL, joined the team in 2016 from EV Zug.

Since then, Bürgler has recorded 29 goals and 23 assists in 67 games for the Bianconeri. The forward currently leads the league in scoring with six goals scored and is seventh in points after seven games.
