The 25-year-old defenseman has signed a two-year deal, valid until the end of the 2019-20 season. He is a product of the Bianconeri but left the organization in 2012 to join HC Davos. After stints with HC Ajoie, HC Thurgau, and the SCL Tigers, he returned to Lugano in 2016.

While he has played in 14 games for the Bianconeri this season thus far, he has yet to put his name on the scoresheet. In total, he has appeared in 145 National League games and 158 Swiss League games.
