HC Fribourg-Gottéron has agreed to terms with Benjamin Chavaillaz. He will stay with the Dragons for another two years. His contract will thus run through 2020.

The 28-year-old defenseman joined HCFG in 2015 after playing for HC Ambrì-Piotta for three seasons. Chavaillaz has scored one assist in the 60 games he appeared in for the Dragons. Earlier today, HCFG had announced that fellow defenseman Andrea Glauser would not remain with the organization after the current season.
