The 29-year-old defenseman had been in discussions with the club since the international break but apparently, they could not come to an agreement. It is not yet clear, where Schneeberger will end up playing next season, but it will not be in Langnau. Team manager Jörg Reber already told the Berner Zeitung last week that he is not of interest to the SCL Tigers.
Schneeberger will thus leave HC Davos after having played six seasons for them. This season thus far, he has recorded two assists in 16 games.
