In order to cut expenses by reducing their payroll, Geneva has offered forwards Nathan Gerbe and Daniel Vukovic, as well as defenseman Eliot Antonietti to other teams, RTS reported on Sunday. Now, the Tribune de Genève adds another name to this list: Jonathan Mercier.
The 31-year-old defenseman, whose contract is still valid until 2019, has played his whole career for Genève-Servette HC. This season so far, he has scored one goal and added two assists in fifteen games.
