Team manager Jörg Reber recently revealed to the Berner Zeitung the club's interest in Andreas Thuresson. Today, the SCL Tigers officially announced the signing of the Swedish forward.

Thuresson will leave Beijing's Kunlun Red Star (KHL), which he joined from Malmö last summer, with immediate effect and move to Langnau. The 30-year-old is expected to arrive in Switzerland already in the course of today.

With his move to the SCL Tigers, the Swede also hopes to increase his chances of earning a spot in the Swedish national team for the upcoming Olympics. Thuresson appeared in 29 games for Kunlun Red Star, scoring one goal and four assists.
