Among the candidates are Tom Rowe and Antti Törmänen. Rowe gave an interview to the Bieler Tagblatt on Friday, in which he said that he would likely sign the contract on Saturday. According to the SonntagsBlick, however, he had already been turned down by EHC Biel by then. Apparently, he flew back to Miami yesterday.

Martin Steinegger will thus once again be able to fully concentrate on his tasks as a team manager. In the six games he coached the Seelanders, they took home 13 of 18 possible points.
