National League

For Tuesday's Champions Hockey League return leg game against Liberec at home, the ZSC Lions can count on Finnish forward Lauri Korpikoski.

Although Korpikoski has been selected to play with the Finnish national team at the Channel One Cup in Moscow (December 13-17), he received green light to hit the ice with ZSC in Tuesday's CHL-game and will join the national team afterwards, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung reports.

This does not apply to the Lions' topscorer Fredrik Petterson, as the Swedish Ice Hockey Association is not interested in such a "Gentlemen's Agreement". Pettersson and Nilsson (currently injured) will thus miss Game 2 of the Champions Hockey League quarterfinal at the Hallenstadion.

Besides the two Swedes, the ZSC Lions currently also have to cope without Flüeler, Klein, Marti, Blindenbacher, Shore, and Suter, who are all sidelined with injuries. Moreover, youngster Raphael Prassl missed Saturday's derby due to the flu and might be questionable.
