As anticipated by Dino Kessler (Blick), HC Davos has reacted to their injury situation by acquiring Mikael Johansson. They have signed him to a one-month contract.

The 32-year-old forward started the season with Brynäs IF of the SHL and his short-term contract with the team would have been extended if he had not been injured at the end of the October. In 13 games for them, he has recorded three assists. His contract with HC Davos is valid until mid-January.

With Robert Kousal (foot), Perttu Lindgren (hip), and Anton Rödin (fibula fracture) out due to injuries and Magnus Nygren absent this week, HC Davos has only one import player at their disposal in Broc Little. With Johansson, they have now someone to at least partially compensate for the many absences.

As for Lindgren, he will definitely not be able to suit up for HCD again this season. While his bone is no longer inflamed, the cartilage damage requires more healing time.
