No contract-talks yet and the signing of Langnau's Yannick-Lennart Albrecht are two indicators that forward Nolan Diem's time with EV Zug might be over.

"It is only december, we still have time," EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy recently said about Nolan Diem's future in Zug. Up to this point, there have not been any contract talks between Kläy and the 24-year-old forward, the Luzerner Zeitung writes.

According to the same source, there is no room on EV Zug's roster for next season because they signed Yannick-Lennart Albrecht (coming from the SCL Tigers) and the club's policy is to have a spot for a young player from the EVZ Academy. The only chance for Diem to stay with the team might be another forward leaving EVZ. "This is an option," Reto Kläy confirms to the same source.

Over the course of the current season, Nolan Diem has only played 17 games for EV Zug due to injury-related absences. So far, he has scored one goal and added two assists.
