HC Ambrì-Piotta announced the signings of defensemen Samuel Guerra and Jannik Fischer, as well as contract extensions for Igor Jelovac and Michael Fora. Manuele Celio will join the club as head of development.

Defenseman Guerra, 24, is currently playing for the ZSC Lions and has signed a contract for the 2018-2019 season. He already spent his junior years in Ambrì before making his NLA-debut with HC Davos during the 2009-2010 season. Jannik Fischer, 27, agreed to a three-year deal. Currently in his eighth season with Lausanne HC, the defender will stay with the Biancoblu until 2021.

Another defenseman has extended his contract. Igor Jelovac is going to stay in the Valascia until 2020. He joined the team at the start of last season. Last but not least, Michael Fora will remain with Ambrì for three more years. The 22-year-old captain of the team has signed an extension until the end of the 2020-2021 season. The contract has a clause that allows him to sign with an NHL-team at the end of each season.

On top of these signings and extensions, the club announced that per May 1st, 2018, Manuele Celio will be the new head of development. He is currently working in the organization of the ZSC Lions.
