The 31-year-old forward hit linesman Sandro Gurtner, who tried to prevent Stålberg from going after HC Davos' Gregory Sciaroni, in the game against HCD on Saturday. Footage of the incident can be watched here.

Subsequently, the Swede was provisionally suspended by the league for Sunday's game. He thus only has to sit out for one more game. In 33 games for Zug, he recorded 17 goals and 22 assists.
