Apparently, several teams are courting the 20-year-old forward. Two of those teams seem to have a slight advantage when it comes down to securing the services of Riat: EHC Biel and HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

Riat is a product of Genève-Servette HC's organization but also spent part of his junior years in North America and Sweden, before returning to the Grenats in 2015. This season, he has recorded eight goals and eleven assists in 38 games.
