"Fribourg's defence currently has many injured players, and this is a great opportunity for the player to play in the National League," HC Ajoie announces.  The club and the defender have dissolved their contract which would have been valid until April this year.

Maret joined the Ajoulots on a one-year deal from HC Fribourg-Gottéron in summer last year. In 32 games for them since season start, he was able to put up three goals and two assists, while posting a plus-9 rating.
