EHC Biel signs backup goalie Elien Paupe to contract extension

EHC Biel announces that they have extended the contract of backup netminder Elien Paupe for two more years through to the 2019-20 season.

The 22-year-old, who has been part of EHC Biel's organization since 2011, will be the Seelanders' number two goalie behind Jonas Hiller as of the upcoming 2018-19 season.

This term thus far, Paupe has appeared in four games for EHC Biel (.928 %SVS) and six games on loan with his youth team HC Ajoie, posting a .877 save percentage.
