The team manager of HC Fribourg-Gottéron only recently told La Liberté that he would not sign players to new contracts before the end of the season. Marchon, for his part, has already expressed his wish to stay with the Dragons for another season a couple of days ago.
The 20-year-old forward has suited up in 35 games for the Dragons this season thus far, recording three goals and five assists. His contract will expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
